Training and Events
Sector Connect Hull offers a range of training and events to meet the needs of the voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations working across Hull. Where possible this is offered for free or at low cost to the sector with accredited and unaccredited courses available.
Our training and events have been designed with the sector in mind and with activity suitable for staff and volunteers.
Training Includes:
Statutory Training
For example, subjects areas such as Health & Safety, Quality & Diversity and GDPR/Data protection
Continuous Professional Development Training
For example, subjects aimed at core skills development or improved awareness, Mental Health Awareness or Social Media Use
Sector Specific Training
Subjects centred around effective VCSE organisational delivery, for example. Applying for Funding or Volunteer Management
Core Business Function Training
Key foundation knowledge that makes your organisation more efficient or compliant, for example financial systems and controls, managing paid staff
