Sector Connect Hull is a partnership to support voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations working in Hull.

Hull Community and Voluntary Services (Hull CVS) is an infrastructure organisation, established to support the development of volunteering and the wider voluntary and community sector in Hull.
Our aim is to be adaptive to the needs of local communities and the VCSE sector, and be responsive with a package of services and support to aid their start up, effectiveness and longer term delivery.
Forum
Forum (North Bank Forum) is a voluntary and community sector umbrella organisation based in Hull and operating across Yorkshire and the Humber.
Forum’s vision is for people in communities to have the services they need to ensure their health and social well-being and their mission is to inform, support and influence the development of services to reflect the needs of their users.
Our Purpose
Sector Connect Hull offers free, impartial advice, guidance and information for anyone who wants to set up a voluntary group, charity or community business, and for anyone who volunteers, governs or works for one. We work flexibly with a wide range of people, and can offer help by telephone, email, face-to-face meetings and online meetings.
Our Specialist Team
Sector Connect Hull is made up of friendly staff from both Hull CVS and FORUM. Our collaboration ensures local voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations receive the robust support needed to have maximum benefit within our local communities.
The team consists of:

Our Services

Capacity Building
We provide impartial advice, guidance and information for anyone who wants to set up a voluntary group, charity or community business, and for anyone who volunteers, governs or works for one.
Training and Events
We offer accredited and unaccredited training courses and events to meet the needs of the voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations working across Hull.
Safeguarding
We assist voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations by providing support, advice and guidance to understand and develop safeguarding practice.
Additional Support
Hull CVS and Forum also provide additional support to the voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations through the following services.
Grants and Funding
If your group, charity or organisation is looking for funding, our Team can provide information on a range of different funding streams and offer guidance on business planning to ensure sustainability.
Volunteering
The Hull Volunteer Centre supports volunteering by giving advice and support to organisations and groups to help them set up and manage their own volunteering programme and recruit suitable volunteers.
